Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges

Welcome to Design and Threads. This policy outlines our terms regarding cancellations, returns, and exchanges for products purchased through our website.

1. CANCELLATIONS

Can I cancel my order? Yes, Design and Threads offers a 24-hour cancellation window for a full refund to your original payment source.

  • Within 24 hours of order placement: You may cancel your order for a full refund to your original payment source.

  • After 24 hours: Since our items are Made-to-Order, cancellations are generally not allowed after the 24-hour mark as production begins. However, you may contact our team at info@designandthreads.com to check the status of your order.

  • Rejected Delivery (RTO): If an order is rejected at the time of delivery, a 25% handling charge will be deducted from the refund to cover shipping and manufacturing costs.

2. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What is the return window?

  • India & International Orders: You must initiate a return request within 3 days of product delivery.

Which products are not eligible for return or exchange?

  • Customized or Bespoke styles.

  • Accessories.

  • Products purchased during a Warehouse Sale.

  • Items that are used, worn, damaged, or missing original packaging/tags.

Condition of products for return/exchange:

  • Products must be unworn, unused, and unwashed with original tags intact.

  • For India orders, please retain and use the original packaging for returns to ensure the product reaches us in its original condition.

Are there return handling charges? Yes, return requests are subject to the following deductions from the refund:

  • India Orders: ₹200 or 5% of the product value (whichever is lower).

  • International Orders: USD 50 or 20% of the product value (whichever is lower).

3. REFUND MODES

  • Online Payments: Refunds will be credited to your original source of payment.

  • COD Orders: Refunds will be processed to the bank account details provided by the customer.

  • Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable.

4. PROCESS

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

  1. Log in to your Design and Threads account and initiate the return under Order History.

  2. Alternatively, email your request to info@designandthreads.com.

How do I return the item?

  • Within India: We will arrange a reverse pickup within 2-4 working days.

  • Outside India: We will provide shipping labels and instructions within 24-48 hours.

What happens next? Once we receive the item, a quality check will be performed within 5 working days. Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.
